The result of the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable recruitment examination is awaited. Once declared, aspirants can check it on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. According to a report published in Times Now, the UP Police formed six different plans to conduct the constable recruitment examination in August 2024 successfully. A senior officer of UP Police said that they had taken the help of AI i.e., Artificial Intelligence, to stop cheating.

This examination was conducted under the supervision of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Due to these strict arrangements, the ulterior motives of the cheating mafia and the solver gang failed.

Plan Number 1- Question Bank

According to the instructions of the UP CM, the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had prepared a bank of 15,000 questions with the help of AI ie Artificial Intelligence. These questions were bifurcated into three levels – 30 per cent difficult, 50 per cent medium and 20 per cent easy. With this classification, a balance was created in the question’s difficulty level.

Plan Number 2- Strong Security Arrangements

AI-enabled CCTVs were installed to monitor all the centres of the UP Police Recruitment Examination. A secure strong room was also set up to keep the question papers safe. Complete arrangement for CCTV and GPS tracking was also enabled in this room. The Government and government-aided institutions got priority for setting up examination centres.

Plan Number 3- Face Recognition Technology

All candidates writing the UP Police Recruitment Examination were officially verified via Aadhaar card. Biometric verification was also compulsory at centres where Aadhaar verification could not be done. AI-enabled CCTV was used to capture biometric data including photos and facial recognition.

Plan Number 4- SOP for Transparency

To follow the instructions of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board established SOP ie- Standard Operating Procedure.

Plan Number 5- Controlling Cheating Mafia and Solver Gang

The authority prepared a list of 1541 criminals associated with the cheating mafia and solver gang. Among these, those accused in examination-related incidents in the last 12 years were observed minutely.

Plan Number 6: Question papers were in multilayer packing

To prevent tampering with answer copies, tamper proof (which cannot be tampered with), multi-layer packaging was used.
