The last date to apply for the Indian Air Force (IAF) Agniveer Vayu recruitment has now been extended to August 4. Earlier, it was July 28. IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
This scheme is open to unmarried Indian male and female candidates. Candidates must have passed their class 12 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and English with a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate marks to apply for the recruitment drive.
The age limit typically ranges from 17.5 years to 21 years. Candidates born between 3 July 2004 and 3 January 2008 can apply. However, specific age criteria can vary with each recruitment cycle.

IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2024: Application Fees
A non-refundable fee of Rs 550 is required to complete the application process. The payment of the application fee can be done online through various modes such as debit card, credit card, or net banking. Candidates are advised to retain a copy of the payment receipt or transaction ID for future reference
IAF Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection process involves a multi-phase process: a computer-based test (CBT), physical fitness test (PFT), adaptability tests and a medical examination. The CBT assesses candidates’ knowledge in subjects like English, Mathematics and General Awareness. For every correct answer, candidates will be rewarded with 1 mark. There is a negative marking of 0.25 with every incorrect answer.
Selected candidates undergo rigorous training at designated Air Force training establishments. The training curriculum includes technical, physical and military education. After completing training, Agniveers are deployed in various units of the IAF, where they serve in different capacities depending on their training and skills.
