The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released the Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (IB ACIO) Tier 1 exam admit card. Candidates who have applied for the ACIO position can obtain the IB ACIO admit card 2024 by visiting the official website at mha.gov.in.

Candidates are recommended to keep their admit card until the admissions process is completed. Furthermore, they can also look for information about their allocated city on the official website. According to the format, the exam has 100 questions divided into five parts, each with 20 one-mark questions on current affairs, general studies, numerical aptitude, reasoning, logical aptitude, and English subjects. Those who pass the Tier 1 exam will be invited to take the Tier 2 exam, which is a descriptive type of exam followed by an interview round.
IB ACIO 2024: Selection Process
Stage 1– Tier 1 Written Exam is rated out of 100 points and serves as the basis for first selection.
Stage 2– Tier-2 which includes a written exam for 50 points.
Stage 3– Those who pass the written tests advance to the third step, where they will face an interview worth 100 points.
Stage 4– The fourth stage includes a detailed process for verifying the documents presented by the candidates.
Stage 5– The final step highlights the importance of physical well-being by subjecting candidates to a medical examination.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 995 openings for the position of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II (Executive), which are divided into the following categories: 377 posts for General (UR) category employees, 134 Scheduled Caste (SC) employees, 133 Scheduled Tribe (ST) employees, 222 Other Backward Classes (OBC) employees, and 129 Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) employees.
