The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) will release the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT 2024) counselling round 1 seat allotment results today, on July 18. The list will be made available on the official website at 8 pm. Candidates who qualified for the IISER IAT exam and registered for counselling can check their admission status on the official website, iiseradmission.in. The deadline to finish the admissions procedure in the first round is July 25.
According to the official website, the second round of counselling will be announced on July 30, 2024, and close on August 3, 2024. The dates for the third round of counselling have not yet been disclosed. The IISER IAT test was held on June 9, 2024.
How to Check IISER IAT 2024 Round 1 Counselling Results?
Step 1 – Visit the official IISER website at iiseradmission.in.
Step 2 – On the homepage, click the link to view IISER IAT 2024 round 1 counselling results.
Step 3 – A new page will open, and candidates can access the results.
Step 4 – Candidates need to input their login credentials to view the result.
Step 5 – Verify the information and save it.
Step 6 – Download the result and print it for future reference.
The exam consisted of 60 questions with 15 each from biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. The total time to complete the test was 180 minutes. The questions were multiple-choice, with just one correct answer. The question paper was in both English and Hindi. IISER campuses in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati will provide admission into 5-year BS-MS dual degree and 4-year BS degree programmes in 2024 via the counselling procedure.
Admission to IISERs will be dependent on the candidates’ IAT-2024 scores only. Candidates were given a choice of 9 programmes across 7 IISERs, while filling out the online counselling application. They had to submit their preferences in the order specified on the list. Those who are assigned a seat in the first round of IAT counselling 2024 will be required to pay an acceptance fee. The fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs 25,000, while applicants from other categories need to pay Rs 12,000.
The IISER IAT 2024 score is also used for admission to the Bachelor of Science (Research) course at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and the Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M).
