The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) in Ranchi has begun registrations for the Combined Entrance Test (CET) for agriculture and other courses starting March 1, 2024. Candidates can visit the official website at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in to fill out the application form. The Jharkhand CET 2024 applications must be submitted by April 1. The Jharkhand CET is scheduled to take place on April 28, 2024, at Ranchi and Dumka Headquarters.

Jharkhand CET 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the class 12th exam with at least 50 per cent marks in Science to apply for the Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course. The candidate’s age should be between 17 and 25 years old.

Jharkhand CET 2024: How to apply

Step 1: Go to the official website- jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/.

Step 2: Click on the registration link on the homepage.

Step 3: Register and fill out the form.

Step 4: Upload all the documents mentioned in the form.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and tap on submit.

Step 6: Download the fee receipt, for your reference.

Jharkhand CET 2024: Application Fees

For candidates falling under the general, economically weaker section (EWS), and other backward classes (OBC), the fee structure for different subject groups is as follows:

––– For subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB): Rs 900

––– For the Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics (PCMB) group: Rs 100.

For scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and female candidates, the application fee is as follows:

––– For subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB): Rs 450

––– For the Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics (PCMB) group: Rs 500

Candidates with disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from paying the application fees.

This Jharkhand CET serves as a gateway to several courses, including Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH), Bachelor of Science (BSc) in agriculture, BSc Forestry, Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Dairy Technology, Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc), BTech in agriculture engineering, and BSc horticulture.
