NEET 2024: What is the dress code?

For students appearing for NEET 2024, special instructions have been released for their dress codes. Candidates are not allowed to wear heavy, fashionable, or long-sleeved clothes in the NEET exam. All candidates will have to wear slippers or sandals with low heels. Wearing shoes is strictly prohibited. Candidates who are not following the dress code due to medical conditions or religious reasons will have to reach the examination centre before the reporting time and get special permission from the NTA.

NEET 2024: Things Prohibited Inside the Examination Hall

Entry is given inside the NEET exam centre only after properly checking the candidate. This year, candidates appearing for the NEET UG exam will have to go through a metal detector and a mandatory security check at the examination centre. Books, papers, pencil cases, plastic bags, calculators, pens, scales, notebooks, USB drives, electronic pens, scanners, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, headphones, microphones, cameras, pagers, fitness trackers, and jewellery are strictly prohibited inside the NEET exam centre. Apart from that, purses, belts, jewellery, water bottles, snacks, etc are also not allowed.
