The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test- Master of Dental Surgery or NEET MDS 2024 will be conducted tomorrow, March 18. As per the official notice, candidates are required to report at the test venue as per the time mentioned in their admit cards. To avoid crowding at the test venue entry, there will be staggered time slots for candidates to report. The reporting counter will close 30 minutes before the test start time.

The NEET MDS 2024 will be administered via a computer-based exam at several examination venues across India. The exam is divided into two parts: Part A contains 100 questions and Part B contains 140 questions. The results will be published by April 18.

NEET MDS 2024 admit card details

Candidates can download the admit cards from the official website, nbe.edu.in by entering their name, registration ID, and other details. After downloading the NEET MDS admit card, candidates must affix their recent (not more than three months old) passport-size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. They must also note that the photograph must be a minimum of 35×45 mm (and not larger than the box printed on the admit card for pasting the photograph) with at least 75 per cent area on the photograph that should be occupied with the face and head of the candidate.

Step 1: Go to natboard.edu.in.

Step 2: Select the link to the NEET MDS 2024 admit card.

Step 3: Complete the login fields and press the submit button.

Step 4: Review and download your admit card. Take a printout.

Items Not Allowed Inside Exam Hall

Candidates are not allowed to carry any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, any electronic device like mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, wrist watch/health band, calculator, electronic pen/ scanner. Ornaments like bracelets, rings, earrings, nosepins, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches etc. Other items like wallets, goggles, handbags, belts, caps etc. Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle. Any other item that could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/ Bluetooth devices, spy cameras, etc are not allowed inside the exam hall.

Items to Carry

Candidates will be compulsorily required to carry a face mask and exam-related documents including their admit card and a government-issued ID card such as a PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar Card (with Photograph). Candidates are required to keep their admit card and photo identification with them at all times during the conduct of the NEET MDS 2024, the official notice states.

NEET MDS is an exam required for admission to numerous MDS courses under the Dentists Act of 1948. On March 11, NBEMS wrapped up the registration process for the NEET MDS 2024. Approximately 6,200 seats of NEET MDS fall under the 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) and 50 per cent state quota categories.

Candidates possessing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from any institution that was provisionally or permanently registered with the State Dental Council are eligible to apply for the exam. Additionally, a one-year rotational internship at a dentistry college that has been approved and recognised is required.
