NEET PG Counselling 2024 Round 1 Registration Underway, MCC To Release Full Schedule Soon

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) commenced the online registration process for the NEET PG Round 1 counselling 2024 recently. Candidates who have cleared their NEET PG entrance exams can apply for counselling round 1 by visiting the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in. It is important to note that the complete schedule for the NEET PG 2024 counselling process will be released soon. The MCC is yet to release the complete schedule for the NEET PG Counselling 2024. Once released, candidates will be able to check the full schedule from the official website – mcc.nic.in.

To register for NEET PG Round 1 counselling, candidates must provide the necessary information in the online registration window. The Medical Counselling Committee will soon publish the deadline for registration, online choice filling and seat allotment release.

NEET PG Counselling 2024: Steps to Register

Step 1: Go to the MCC’s official website at mcc.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘NEET PG 2024 Medical counselling’ section.

Step 3: To start the online registration process, click on the ‘New Registration’ link.

Step 4: Then, upload all the necessary documents and pay the mandatory fee.

Step 5: Crosscheck all the details. Save the application form and click on submit.

NEET PG Counselling 2024: Choice Filling for Round 1

The option for candidates to register their course and college preferences will be available soon. Those who have enrolled for Round 1 counselling must complete the choice filling and locking process by the stipulated time. Candidates should list their course and college choices in order of preference. Students must keep in mind that they will be assigned seats based on the number of applicants, availability of seats, college-determined cutoffs and average grades obtained.

NEET PG Counselling 2024: Seat Allotment Process

Following the choice-filling process, institutions/colleges will review documents and assign seats depending on the number of applicants, seat availability and defined cutoffs. The results of the NEET PG 2024 Round 1 seat allocation will be issued shortly thereafter. Students who have been given seats must report to their designated colleges to finish the admission process. MCC conducts NEET PG counselling in three stages: AIQ round 1, AIQ round 2 and AIQ round 3 followed by stray vacancy round(s) for remaining seats.
