RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Registration Reopens For 14,298 Posts, Steps To Apply

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has reopened the online registration process for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 on October 2. Candidates can apply for the Technician posts by submitting their application forms on the official website of RRB atrrbapply.gov.in. The last date to apply for the RRB Technician Recruitment 2024 is October 16. During this time, new candidates will be able to apply for the Technician positions, while existing applicants will be able to change their preferences and update their application forms.

According to the official notice, the facility to make changes in the application forms will be held from October 17 to October 21. It is important to note that candidates will be allowed to make changes to the application form only after paying a fee of Rs 250 for every modification.

Notably, there will be 14,298 technical positions available in the recruitment drive, compared to 9,144 open lines (17 categories) positions in the last one. Following increased demand from Zonal Railways or Production Units, RRB created new roles.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website of RRB at rrbapply.gov.in.

Step 2: On the home page, look for and click on the ‘apply’ link and register yourself first.

Step 3: After the registration process, log in to the account.

Step 4: Then, fill out the application form and make the payment of the fee.

Step 5: Crosscheck all the details and submit the form.

RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: Application Fee

The application fee for the RRB Technician recruitment is Rs 500 for General category candidates and Rs 250 for SC, ST, Female, Transgender and EWS candidates.

Candidates who paid the application fee and submitted an application during the previous window are considered existing candidates, according to the RRB. These applicants won’t be charged an additional cost during this period. New applicants are welcome to apply for Technician positions in all categories, ranging from 2 to 40, during the reopened application session.
