Schools in Rajasthan's Khanua Remain Open Amid Cold Weather; CBEO Directs Them to Shut Down

The Chief Block Education Officer Naresh Sharma conducted a surprise inspection of private schools in the area’s Gram Panchayat Khanua. Sharma had received that schools in the district were open despite cold weather and against government orders, reported Dainik Bhaskar.

During the inspection, the CBEO found schools open in the village Khanua. Sharma expressed his displeasure and instructed the schools to close classes immediately. He said that upon receiving information that several schools in the village were conducting classes despite government order directing schools to remain closed due to cold weather, he went and shut down the classes.

Winter vacations across schools in Rajasthan have been announced for a total of 13 days this year. Here the government has announced winter holidays in all schools from December 25 to January 5, 2024. Schools will open on January 6, however, if the weather conditions are not normal by then, holidays will likely be extended.

Meanwhile, the dates for the RBSE Class 10, and 12 board exams in 2024 have been published by the board. The Rajasthan Board exam for Classes 10 and 12 will be held from February 15 to April 10. However, the board has not yet announced the complete exam schedule. About 10 lakh students have registered for the RBSE Board Exams 2024.

Each exam in the Rajasthan Board class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2024 will be worth a total of 100 points (80 marks for some courses). The admit card issue date will be announced following the publication of the Rajasthan Board Date Sheet 2024. It is mandatory for students enrolled in the Rajasthan Board class 10 and 12 examinations in 2024 to carry their hall tickets to the testing location. In addition, the RBSE class 10 curriculum for Hindi, English, Math, Science, and Social Studies has been made available on the official website exam portal.
