UPSSSC PET Vacancy 2024: 361 Junior Drug Analyst Positions Up For Grabs

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has announced the fifth round of recruitment for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This round includes the hiring of 361 positions for Junior Analysts (Drug) in Uttar Pradesh. The application procedure will commence on April 18, allowing interested candidates to apply through the UPSSSC website, https://upsssc.gov.in/. The deadline for applications is May 18.

Cutoff for Junior Analyst (Drug):

  • Unreserved: 146
  • Scheduled Caste: 75
  • Scheduled Tribe: 7
  • OBC: 97
  • EWS: 36

Candidates must hold a degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharmacist Pharmacy. Additionally, candidates’ age should be between 21 to 40 years. Reserved category candidates will receive the relaxation in the maximum age limit according to the rules.

The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 25.

There are five vacancies under PET:

1. Ayurvedic Pharmacist: 1002 posts

2. Assistant Store Keeper: 200 posts

3. Assistant Accountant and Auditor: 1828 posts

4. Junior Analyst (Food): 417 posts

5. Junior Analyst (Drug): 361 posts

To apply for the post of Pharmaceutical Ayurvedic, please follow these steps:

1. Visit the official website. 

2. On the homepage, locate and click on the ‘Live Advertisements’ section.

3. Look for the advertisement related to the post of Pharmaceutical and click on the apply link.

4. Register on the website if you haven’t already done so and proceed with the application process.

5. Fill out the application form with the required details, pay the application fee and submit the form.

As per the official update, a total of 20,07,533 candidates registered for the UPSSSC PET exam. Out of these, only 12,58,867 candidates (63%) appeared for the exam, while the remaining 7,48,666 candidates (37%) did not. Individuals seeking to apply for various Group B and C positions announced by the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government are required to have a valid UP PET Exam scorecard. For participants of the UP PET 2023 Exam, the UP PET Result and Score Card are now accessible after a four-month wait.
