According to a report on a sports website, OFF THE POST, QPR manager Harry Redknapp has said that he expects Gareth Bale to stay at Tottenham this summer.
The former Spurs boss believes the Welshman will remain at White Hart Lane to help the club into the Champions League.
Gareth Bale collected the top two awards in English football this year to cement his status as one of the sport's most talented players. He was voted player of the year and the young player of the year by his fellow professionals in English football.
Redknapp told Sports Direct: "Spurs are within touching distance of becoming a Champions League club and Gareth has much to do with that. "I think he's very happy at the club and although there's a lot of speculation I really don't see him leaving."
Bale has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer. According to reports the in the British media, Real are ready to stump up a mammoth 85 million pounds for the winger. Manchester United are also said to be interested in Bale but are not ready to pay over the odds.
