The film’s narrative revolves around two orphan twins who are raised in the forest.

The highly anticipated Telugu movie Record Break is set to release on March 8. Veteran actress Jayasudha’s son, actor Nihar Kapoor takes on the lead role in this film. Nihar recently engaged with the media, shedding light on various aspects of the movie and addressing questions from the press. When asked about how he got this film, Nihar Kapoor shared, “Previously, I worked on Gangster Gangaraju. During the making of that movie, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao approached me, saying that he had a story in mind, for which he believed I would be a perfect fit. Intrigued by the storyline, I readily agreed to take on the role. What appealed to me the most about this project was not just the opportunity to play the lead, but also the depth of the characters within the story”.

The narrative revolves around two orphan twins who are raised in the forest. One of them learns wrestling competition in the forest, eventually making his way to the city and achieving success at the international level, particularly in the WC (World Championships). In contrast to films like Dangal with similar themes, this movie is also commercially oriented but distinct. Record Break delves into the intricacies of wrestling matches while narrating the journey of two orphans to the international level. It combines commercial elements with sentimental and emotional aspects including themes like motherhood and intense fights.

The film showcases WW (World Wrestling) competitions, and the audience will witness the evolution from wrestling matches to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) as they watch the movie. “While regions like Rajasthan and Haryana have been focal points for wrestling competitions and have seen more movies depicting such themes, our film will offer additional elements beyond just wrestling matches,” said Nihar.

“Although it’s a Telugu movie, it’s intended to evoke pride among all Indians. We believe a film of this calibre shouldn’t be confined to just one language, which is why we’re releasing it worldwide in eight languages”, Nihar Kapoor added.

When asked about his mother’s reaction, he shared, “After watching the trailer, she responded positively. I’m eager to hear her thoughts after watching the full movie. Though busy, she took the time to listen to the story and commended the unique concept, showing much appreciation”.
