The highly anticipated sequel to the 1996 film Indian marks the reunion of Shankar and Kamal Haasan after several years.

The highly anticipated Tamil vigilante action film Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan, has remained in the spotlight for quite some time. In the latest development, reports confirm that the film has entered the post-production stage. Kamal Haasan and director Shankar are actively engaged in the dubbing process, stirring excitement among eager viewers awaiting updates on the film’s progress.

Recently, a video went viral where actor Kamal Haasan was seen arriving at a Chennai-based dubbing studio, closely followed by director Shankar. The video also features Kamal Haasan and director Shankar engaging in a fun conversation while working for Indian 2. Indian 2 is the sequel to the 1996 film Indian and features Kamal Haasan as the main lead. The highly anticipated sequel also marks the reunion of Shankar and Kamal Haasan after several years. The movie is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies and also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Guru Somasundaram, and Bobby Simha in important roles.

The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while Ravi Varman handles the camera.

Recently, B. Jeyamohan, writer of Indian 2, also spilled some beans about the film’s runtime. According to Jeyamohan, Indian 2 would have a time constraint of 3 hours and 10 minutes. This will also make Indian 2 the longest film director in Shankar’s career. Reports say Indian 2 will narrate the story of a person who fights against the corruption of dishonest bureaucrats.

Indian 2 will be released in three languages – Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. This film is expected to be released next year.

Meanwhile, director Shankar is also busy working on his Telugu debut as a director for Game Changer. Ram Charan will play the lead role in the film. The story of Game Changer is penned by Karthik Subbaraj. Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Nassar, and Samuthirakani will be seen as the other pivotal roles.
