A 10-year-old boy died on the spot when a speeding oil tanker crushed the victim in Medipally here on Thursday. According to police, the deceased, Gautham, is the son of deputy director of BC Welfare Mallesh. Around 11.
30 pm, Hareesh Kumar and Gautham were returning home after distributing Kumar’s wedding cards to their relatives when the accident took place. Hareesh Kumar is a constable of Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP),” police said. As the duo reached to Joy Joy restaurant, an unknown bike hit their bike after which Gautham fell down.
Later, he was crushed under wheels of a speeding oil tanker. Medipally Police registered a case under section 304 (A) ( Causing death by negligence) against truck driver and investigation is on.
