Contrary to speculation, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar are likely to leave Ghaziabad’s Dasna Jail on Monday, and not Friday evening. The couple were acquitted by the Allahabad HC on Thursday in the 2008 murders of their 14-year-old daughter Aarushi Talwar and domestic help Hemraj. Defence lawyers had earlier said faxed copies of the court order would be enough to get the couple released, but it turns out that UP jails require a certified copy of the order.
