CHITTOOR: In a curious development, Samajwadi Party former leader Amar Singh visited the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple here built by former TTD chairman DK Audikesavulu Naidu and spent five hours there.Singh arrived here late on Monday night and checked into a local hotel. His close friend Naidu met him and both of them are believed to have discussed the investigation into the cash- for-vote scam. On Tuesday morning, Amar Singh offered prayers at the temple and stayed there for nearly five hours.“I have realised that except God no one can give peace to an individual. Spiritualism in me has woken up, though late,” he told mediapersons but refused to speak on the investigation saying that he was at present not in a position to talk politics. He left for Chennai at 5:30 pm.
