New York: Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway has became the latest celebrity to join the Occupy Wall Street demonstrators after she was pictured marching with protesters.

The 'Devil Wears Prada' star, a resident of the Big Apple, followed in the footsteps of fellow celebrities Penn Badgley, Russell Brand, Russell Simmons and Kanye West who have all taken part in the demonstrations since the movement began in September, reported E! online.

Activists campaigning against corporate greed staged a high-profile march on November 17 to mark the movement's two-month anniversary.

Hathaway, dressed in a hooded raincoat and sunglasses, helped to hold up a sign supporting the campaign.

Her 'The Dark Knight Rises' co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt has also filmed a police raid on the Occupy Wall Street base in Zuccotti Park, Manhattan on November 15.
