Silver screen has seen countless takes on relationships, but treating it in a matter-of-fact style is 'Annum Innum Ennum'. Produced by Usha Rajesh under the Vaya Films banner, the film has newbie Rajesh Nair calling the shots.
"When we are happy we celebrate with the ones we love, but when we feel a little low, we have a tendency to fall back on people who love us. This paradox in human nature I find interesting. 'Annum Innum Ennum' is basically a film that dissects familial bonds and real life situations," says the filmmaker.
The film is woven around two couples belonging to two generations - one in their twenties and the other in their forties. The film, a multi-starrer, has Jishnu and Radhika playing the main leads. Moreover Miss India Worldwide 2007 - Fareisha Jommenbaks will be making her Mollywood debut playing a crucial role in the film, a 'character who makes everybody think twice' according to Rajesh.
The Surinamese model turned actress was crowned Miss India Surinam before winning Miss India Worldwide title in 2007. She has already acted in a Dutch Indian film 'Saiyaan Chitchor'. The cast also includes Nishan, Asokan, Salim Kumar, Biju Kuttan, Nandu, Tashu Kaushik, Rekha, Rosin Jolly and Seema G Nair. "Another major role is handled by Thilakan sir, something drastically different from what he has done so far. He went through the whole script before accepting the offer," he says.
Rajesh adds the first thing people wanted to know the film is whether it is a new-gen flick. "In fact I myself am confused about what exactly is a new generation film. I would say 'Annum Innum Ennum' is an all generation movie from a new-gen team." 'Annum Innum Ennum' is expected to hit the screens in the first week of August.
