Applications invited for PDCEM and PGDCEM

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  The HLL Academy, the academic wing of the central public sector undertaking HLL Lifecare Limited, has invited  applications for Post Diploma in Clinical Engineering and Management (PDCEM) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Engineering and Management (PGDCEM), conducted in association with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The duration of these distance learning programmes will be one year. Persons with a diploma in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Medical Instrumentation Engineering are eligible for the PDCEM programme. Engineering graduates with specialisation in Biomedical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Chemical Biotechnology can apply for PGDCEM.   The course would cover hospital management, project management, procurement management and foreign trade of medical equipment, besides biomedical engineering.For application form and prospectus, contact the head office of HLL at Poojappura or at the Regional Office    of IGNOU at Killipallam or log on to www.hllacademy.in.   Applications in the prescribed format with a DD for Rs 100, along with student identity card and attested true copies of certificates should be sent to the Programme Coordinator, HLL-IGNOU Programme, HLL Lifecare Limited, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram - 695 012 before November 30.   A seminar on the courses and provisional registration will be held at the Hindi Prachara Sabha Auditorium Hall, Vazhuthacaud, on November 18 at 4.30 pm.
