KOCHI: DP World Cochin was awarded the ‘Newsmaker of the Year’ award at Maritime and Logistics Awards held in Mumbai last week. K Krishnadas, CEO, DP World Cochin, and Anil Singh, regional director, DP World, received the award. DP World Cochin also bagged the awards for Container Terminal Operator of the Year (Pan India) and Corporate Social Responsibility. DP World Cochin was selected for the award, based on its performance this year. DP World regional director Anil Singh said the award is an inspiration for them to continue in their fine spirit of operation. “It is a proud moment for us to be recognised for both our operational excellence and our care for the environment,” Singh said. DP World is one of the largest marine terminal operators in the world, with 49 terminals and 9 new developments and major expansions across 31 countries.
