BANGALORE: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) conducted another cleanliness drive followed by an inspection in Mahadevapura on Friday morning. The area was inspected by BBMP Commissioner Siddaiah, ward member Arvind Limbavali and other members.
The officials cleaned the streets and issued orders to repair the broken footpaths and potholes on roads. Commissioner Siddaiah also instructed the ward members to make Mahadevapura more eco-friendly. Further at Devasandra, the Commissioner asked Brigade Group to repair the Railway Parallel Road. He opined that the construction of convention centre by Brigade Group was causing inconvenience to commuters. The team visited Kaverinagar and proposed plans to convert the 6 acre quarry pit into a playground and garden. Also present at the event were BBMP members N Pillapapa and N R Shridhar.
