BANGALORE: The Revenue Inspector of BBMP Kaveripura Ward Hucchappa was caught red handed by the Lokayukta police while he was receiving graft money of `10,000. He was arrested on Tuesday.According to the Lokayukta police, the complainant, Bettegowda’s brother owned a property at Kaveripura in Kamakshipalya and Hucchappa had issued a tax notice to him, wrongly noting that the property was of 1200 sq. ft. for 1000 sq. ft. Bettegowda filed an application seeking correction of the extent of the property. Prior to this case, he has also allegedly received bribe for change of Khata of property belonging to the complainant’s father-in-law. “Even for the correction of the extent of property he demanded a bribe of `15,000 and finally agreed for ` 10,000,” the police said.
