Bharath University hosted its 25th annual Convocation Day for the students of 2011 – 2012 batch at a function held on the college campus. Governor of Tamil Nadu K Rosaiah was the chief guest for the occasion. J Lakshmi Narayanan, chancellor, Bharath University and K P Thooyamani, vice-chancellor, were present on the occasion.
Around 1200 students graduated from the university. Governor Rosaiah awarded the graduation to students. Addressing the gathering, Lakshmi Narayanan said, “This is a very proud moment for all of us. We wish you all the success in your endeavors.”
K P Thooyamani, vice-chancellor, Bharath University, said, “This is a momentous event for us. Our syllabus is specially designed to incorporate the latest developments in the industry and this gives our students advantage over other colleges. Our university will continue to support students to gain access to the latest knowledge in every field.”
