The Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress leaders have got entangled in war of words over State Congess unit’s proposed move of renting out party office ‘Jawahar Bhawan’.

Ridiculing the unusual move from its political rival, BJP spokesperson and MLA Vishwas Sarang said that Congress if facing starvation in state.

Congress spokesperson JP Dhanopia retaliated by stating that BJP knows starvation much better as their leaders faced worse days and brought the party to the present situation.

Making a mockery of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee’s (MPCC) financial woes, BJP spokesperson Vijendra Singh Sisodia added that the BJP was ready to help out the Congress party.

Recently the MPCC had decided to rent out portions of Jawahar Bhawan which acted as party state headquarters till the tenure of ex-MPCC head Subhash Yadav. The complex has 58 shops rented out by the party but the remaining portions are lying unoccupied for years.

The recent move from MPCC came to counter cash crunch ans managing expenses like salaries of party staff and other regular expenses.

As soon as the Congress party has got ousted from the power in New Delhi, the All India Congress Committee has asked all the state comittees for generating funds on their own.

Recently a formal advertisement was published from MPCC chief Arun Yadav, seeking bids from the interested tenants.
