New Delhi: JD(U) leader Digvijay Singh, BJP leader Yashwant Sinha and SP leader Amar Singh visited former external affairs minister Natwar Singh's residence after Parliament was adjourned on Monday.

After Natwar was indicted by the Pathak Authority’s report on the Oil-for-Food scam, Amar Singh has invited him to join SP and the BJP has said he is being made a scapegoat.

Meanwhile, the BJP on Monday sought registration of a criminal case against all those named in the Volcker report as illegal beneficiaries from India of Iraq's oil-for-food programme, insisting the Pathak authority has been unable to do justice with the investigation because of its limited powers.

BJP spokesman Arun Jaitley, who called the authority report half truth and half cover-up, maintained that the probe headed by the former Chief Justice of India had no coercive powers to summon evidence from abroad.
