New Delhi: Rohit Shetty, the director of ‘Bol Bachchan’, is hopeful that his film will cross the Rs 100 crore mark in coming weeks. In a web chat organised by IBNLive, Shetty said, “Wait for 10 days, we'll cross the 100. Don’t worry.”
The film opened with mixed reviews on July 6. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has so far garnered around Rs 60 crore including the overseas market. He tweeted, “BolBachchan Tue *actuals* 6.3 cr, total: 56.34 cr nett. Excellent!”
He also tweeted, “BolBachchan - New Zealand: Weekend NZ$ 62,488, Mon NZ$ 8,291, Tue NZ$ 16,524. Tuesday better than Monday.”
He added, “BolBachchan - Australia: Weekend A$ 162,431, Mon A$ 22,716, Tue A$ 40,435. UK: Weekend £ 160,617, Mon £ 23,854, Tue £ 27,452.”
‘Bol Bachchan’ has also brought happiness for Abhishek Bachchan who was craving for a commercially successful film since a long time. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Prachi Desai and Asin in prominent roles.
