BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that the outcome of the byelection to Assembly from Bellary rural constituency will have no impact on the state government. “We have a comfortable majority in the Assembly. The outcome of the byelection is not going to make any change numerically,” the chief minister said in response to questions from the media at his home office on Saturday. The counting in the byelection is scheduled for today.Gowda said he will face the legislature session with confidence as he has been able to improve the image of the government by the performance by his entire team. “We have no guilty or regret and I will face the Opposition parties with courage and conviction,” the chief minister asserted. He said, “Before becoming MP in 2004, I have served in the Assembly for a decade from 1994 to 2004. I will do a better job with the experience which I gained then and with the cooperation of my olleagues.”
