Carpenter run over by college bus

BHUBANESWAR: A carpenter was run over by an engineering college bus near Kalpana Square here on Thursday. He died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Karu Sharma, a native of Bihar. Sharma was on his way to Bapuji Nagar from Laxmi Sagar when the incident occurred. The bus hit his bike from the rear. When Sharma fell on the road, the bus ran over him.STUDENT DEAD: In a separate incident, an engineering college student fell off the 15th floor of an under-construction apartment, Vipul Gardens, under Khandagiri police limits. He has been later identified as Anil Jaisingh.  It was not immediately known if Jaisingh ended his life or fell accidentally off the roof.
