New Delhi: More than 6.3 lakh students, who appeared for their Central Board of Secondary Education exams in March 2009 have now an official statement on their results as CBSE has declared the results at 1000 hrs IST on Friday.
Students can get their results by registering themselves on the websites cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.nic.in.
CBSE would also give out the results over the phone through Interactive Voice Response System and through SMSes.
Results for Ajmer, Panchkula and Chennai regions were announced on Tuesday.
The CBSE board, prior of the results had launched a 15-day counselling for pupils to cope with post-result situations.
The counselling will be provided by the board through tele-helpline, IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) and CBSE website.
So far as tele-helpline is concerned, altogether 37 principals, trained counsellors from CBSE affiliated government and private schools, psychologists and social scientists will operate this telephonic helpline
individually from 0800 hrs to 2000 hrs in four-hour slots.
IVRS will be provided for the first time by any board of education in the country. The CBSE has made a unique effort to provide tele-counselling through IVRS mode for the fifth consecutive year.
In order to enable more and more examinees to avail themselves of the facility of counseling reaching out especially to students in far-flung areas.
This service will be available on local dial facilities within Mumbai for the subscribers of MTNL on 1250 111 102, for BSNL (landline and Mobile) and AIRTEL landline users this will run behind a seven digit number 1250102. For Reliance users the service will be available on 55500102.
