BANGALORE: The Lokayukta Court on Monday adjourned till April 21 passing of orders on a complaint seeking a detailed probe into the case against Advocate General B V Acharya and four others for alleged misappropriation of funds of BMS Education Trust, of which they are trustees.Earlier, the counsel for complainant N Venkateshaiah submitted necessary documents demanded by Judge N K Sudheendra Rao during the previous hearing. In his complaint filed on January 25, Venkateshaiah, a nonagenarian, had alleged that government-appointed trust member and Director of Technical Education H U Talwar (55), member-secretary B S Ragini Narayan (70), members Dr P Dayananda Pai (66) and former additional chief secretary of Karnataka Vijay Gore (63) and B V Acharya had misappropriated trust funds.Hearing the case, Judge Rao observed that the grants and financial assistance received by the trust from the state government exceeded Rs 80 crore, apart from urban properties allotted by the government worth more than Rs 100 crore. The petitioner’s counsel had stated that the honorarium for Ragini Narayan and Vijay Gore increased from Rs 10,000 per month in August 2009 to Rs 2 lakh per month by July 2010.“These changes were effected after passing of a resolution without any discussion. A total of `8,04,418 is shown under expenditure on honorarium for the year ending March 31, 2010, whereas it went up to `76,28,615 the next year,” the counsel noted. It was also alleged that in 2011, 67 government quota seats in BMS College of Engineering were shown as “not reported” and they were filled under management quota, which they sought to regularise at a later stage.Court Demands Proof Against Renukacharya Lokayukta Court Judge NK Sudheendra Rao on Monday asked the Lokayukta Police whether they had “conclusive proof” against Excise Minster M P Renukacharya who allegedly sought liquor bottles as bribe from an official. The judge asked the police to file a concluding report on the findings and posted the hearing to April 16. In an interim report, the Lokayukta police had told the court on March 31, that they were yet to find evidence to prove that  Renukacharya had sought liquor bottles as bribe.
