Beijing: Guo Wenjun of China won the Olympic women's 10m Air Pistol shooting gold medal with a new Games record here on Sunday.
Guo, 24, finished with 492.3 points to better the previous Olympic record of 490.1 set by Olga Klochneva of Russia at Atlanta in 1996.
Natalia Paderina of Russia took the silver medal, while Nino Salukvadze of Georgia claimed the bronze.
It was China's second shooting gold medal in three events so far after Pang Wei won the men's 10m Air Pistol title on Saturday.
