NEDUMBASSERY: The rights of the members of Kolenchery St Peter’s and St Paul’s Parish church should be protected. The purpose of the construction of Kolenchery Church and the 1913 Agreement should be preserved by conducting an election democratically based on justice, urged a resolution of the joint meeting of the Jacobite Church Synod, working committee and managing committee held at Thuruthissery Simhasana Church here on Friday. The churches should be administered by the majority of the parishioners based on the Supreme Court directive in 1995 and the government should desist from closing the churches. The government should be impartial and make a consensus on the issue.
