City retains its charm for travellers

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad stands in top 10 positions in both national and international destinations, according to the Hotel Price Index (HPI) studies conducted by Hotels.com. The country’s political and financial capitals, Delhi and Mumbai, respectively come first and second and are followed by Bengaluru and Chennai as the most popular destinations with travellers. The report also reveals that Indians tend to choose South Asian countries over Europe and Americas for travelling.  According to the report, apart from the metros, Goa, Jaipur and Hyderabad feature in both lists. Hyderabad is at number 8 in the list of top domestic destinations for Indian travellers and at 6 in the list of top Indian destinations for overseas travellers. Looking at the overseas destinations, Singapore holds the top spot with its famous luxury hotels, followed by Bangkok. London still continues to attract Indians and holds the third spot whereas HongKong, New York, Dubai, Kuala Lampur and Las Vegas remain Indians’ favorites.Hotels.com HPI is a regular survey of hotel prices in major destinations across the world.
