England registered a comprehensive victory over West Indies on Day 4 of the second Test at Trent Bridge. While the cricket drama had fans on the edge of their seats, an amusing moment was also captured in the stadium as the cameras spotted a lookalike of Ben Stokes in the stands. In videos going viral on the internet, the star all-rounder also noticed his lookalike on the big screen, and his reaction was epic.

Seated on the balcony of Trent Bridge during England’s second innings, Ben Stokes noticed a man on the big screen who looked almost the same as him. Stokes initially smiled after seeing his supposed doppelganger. Later, he came out with a funny gesture to imitate the man’s glasses with his hands, leaving the crowd in splits.

The brief moment brought a lot of smiles, and even commentators couldn’t help but enjoy a little laugh. Shared by England Cricket on its official media handles, the video includes an impressive witty caption that reads, “There’s only one thing better than one Ben Stokes…Two Ben Stokes.”

Fans also reacted to it with hilarious comments. A user wrote, “Kane Williamson plus Stokesy,” while another commented, “Ben Stokes found Stokes Ben.”

“So I’m not the only one who has done that hand gesture to get a Spiderman face,” a comment read. Notably, having hammered 69 in the first innings of the Test, Stokes went out for a single-figure score in the second. Henceforth, he was on the dressing room balcony, watching the game from afar and basking in the mid-match amusement.

England thrashed the West Indies by 241 runs in the second match to register a 2-0 lead in the three-Test series. Chasing a target of 385 runs, the West Indies collapsed to 143 all out, losing all their wickets in 23 overs on Day 4. England’s star off-spinner Shoaib Bashir’s five-wicket haul was nothing short of extraordinary and he played a pivotal role in the team’s 241-run victory.

Earlier, Joe Root and Harry Brook also contributed hundreds in England’s second-inning score of 425.
