CHENNAI: The Creative Artist Challenge, an inter-school painting competition conducted by Antony Group of Companies, took place in the city, recently. Open to students of class 6 through 12, the contest saw participation from over 700 students from 140 schools and had actor Prashanth give away the prizes. The main themes of the contest were 'India Vision 2025' and 'Distant Dreams of a Child Labour. Participants, along with the chief guest, lit candles as a way of expression towards the eradication of child labour and also, took an oath against encouraging child labour. There were seven categories in all, based on the age of the students. Seven first prizes, 14 second prizes and 28 third prizes were handed out to the winners. All participating schools were also given consolation prizes.
