CHENNAI: Dandiya Garba Raas, a hugely popular dance form from Gujarat which is performed during the Navratri festival, is being organised by the Rotary Club of Madras in association with Nippon Paints. It is to be held during the Navaratri festival on September 25, Sunday, from 7.30 pm onwards at Hotel Taj Coromandel, Nungambakkam. Well known jeweller, Mehta Jewellery, and builder, Arun Excello will also come together with the Rotary Club of Madras to help raise funds for the club’s various community service projects on the occasion.The event is also scheduled to be web cast live.
