The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has received around 2,300 bookings within 48 hours for its latest housing scheme, around 1,300 of which came on the second day. The ‘affordable’ and ‘middle-class’ housing schemes are the most popular categories.
As per the DDA data, approximately 2,300 flats have been booked under three housing scheme categories. According to a statement issued by the DDA, on the second day, around 1,050 flats were booked under the ‘affordable housing scheme’, and approximately 250 flats were booked under the ‘middle-class housing scheme’. In total, 1,300 flats were booked on the second day across these two schemes.
Officials said the Delhi Development Authority is committed to issuing demand letters to buyers within 24 hours of booking. Around 1,170 letters have been sent out, all of which were issued online.
On the first day of the housing scheme launch, more than 1,000 flats were booked under the affordable and middle-class housing schemes within four hours. The DDA is constructing and selling flats in various categories across different areas of Delhi.
