According to eyewitnesses, the tempo broke through the barricades and ran over the policeman.
New Delhi: A policemen was killed in New Delhi's Bharat Nagar late on Thursday night. Reports indicate that the policeman, identified as Naresh, was killed as he tried to stop a tempo against which a lookout notice had been issued.
According to eyewitnesses, the tempo broke through the barricades and when Naresh pursued it on motorcyle, he was run over.
A home guard was also injured in the incident.
