TIRUNELVELI: Authorities of Koodankulam nuclear power plant started removing dummy fuel assemblies at Reactor-1 on Friday. Site director R S Sundar said 163 dummy fuel assemblies would be removed in five or six days’. In a major step, the unsealing of reactor pressure vessel was done on Monday. This step facilitated removal of the dummy fuel assemblies.
