DVS government puppet in BSYs hands

BANGALORE: Opposition Congress leader in the Karnataka Assembly Siddaramaiah dubbed the new BJP government led by DV Sadananda Gowda as a puppet in the hands of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa.Speaking to newsmen, Siddaramaiah, who turned 64 on Friday, described the formation of the new government as old wine in a new bottle, from which nothing much can be expected. Regarding BJP leader Sushma Swaraj staying away from the annual Varamahalakshmi Puja in Bellary this year, he said that she must be conscious of her image taking a beating by being associated with the tainted Reddy brothers.On BJP national president Nitin Gadkari’s participation in the Puja, he said that he is obligated to attend the event as he is one of the beneficiaries of the illegal mining in Bellary district.
