Entrust postings with PSC: RSP

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The appointment of teachers and  administrative staff in the educational institutions under the Travancore Devaswom Board should be entrusted with the PSC to prevent corruption, said RSP state secretary V P Ramakrishna Pillai. The UDF Government’s move to hand over the appointments to a separate board is totally unacceptable, he said in a press release issued here on Tuesday. The  appointment of the Devaswom Commissioner as the chairman of the interview board can only be seen as a smokescreen, he said.
