Facelift for BBMP hospital

BANGALORE: BBMP has decided to upgrade the maternity hospital in NR Colony. Dr Lata Venkatraman from Rangadurai hospital has taken the responsibility to upgrade the facilities at the hospital.The hospital will soon have a laboratory, ultrasound scanner and other super-speciality services. “It is a noble venture and we must encourage social organisations to help the corporation in such ways”, said Sathyanarayana, corporator, Basavanagudi who has sought the appointment for 23 doctors.“The Corporation completely supports the venture and it would definitely benefit the residents of the area”, said Siddaiah, Commissioner, BBMP.
