Fighting corruption

BANGALORE: In accordance with the decision taken by the All India State Bank Officers’ Federation and All India State Bank of India Staff Federation, mammoth joint demonstrations by more than 2.5 lakh members of AISBOF & AISBISF, were held before their respective LHO’s and administrative offices, throughout the country, demanding probity in public life and eradication of corruption from societyG D Nadaf, general secretary, while addressing the demonstration in front of LHO, clarified that, both Officers and Staff Federations in SBI are not affiliated to any political party"We are against corruption in public lifeBanks as custodians of trust of the common man are for protecting their rightsWe are for stringent laws and speedy action against corruption and corrupt people in the societyIf need be, both the Federations will not hesitate to go on a strike against the social evil," declared Com NadafCom P A Manjunatha, g e n e r a l s e c r e t a r y , SBISU (K) requested the members to take active part in this movement
