New Delhi: Kashmir protest unfolded in Delhi on Thursday while Hardline Hurriyat Conference leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani attended a seminar organised by a committee for release of political prisoners.
There was heavy sloganeering between the groups present inside the hall when one of the speakers Professor Sujatha Rao raised the Azaad kashmir pitch and said the Indian state should be given to Kashmir azadi.
The seminar was titled ‘Azadi the only way’.
Besides Geelani, several prominent figures from India and abroad also participated in the seminar.
Geelani, who has been specially invited to the seminar by CRPP president Guru Sharan Singh, will return to Kashmir on Sunday, October 24.
