Hartal Thursday at Cheranelloor

KOCHI: A hartal will be observed at the Cheranelloor panchayat on Thursday in response to the police arrest of its panchayat president and members on Tuesday.The panchayat president along with the councillors and a few other panchayat members took out a protest march on Tuesday to the Kerala Water Authority office against the lack of water supply in the region.The people of the panchayat have been reeling under water crisis for quite a few days.
