The court directed Venugopal's counsel to file his rejoinder to a Government submission on the issue.
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court, on Tuesday, continued its stay on the dismissal of All India Institute of Medical Sciences Director P Venugopal.
The counsel for Vengugopal, Maninder Singh, argued before a Bench of Justice Anil Kumar and submitted that Valiathan committee report was being suppressed by the Government.
He added that it had been suppressed by the Government as it had recommended that the Union Health Minister, Anbumani Ramadoss, should not be the ex-officio president of the institution.
The court directed the counsel for Venugopal to file his rejoinder to a Government submission on the issue by February 22 next year.
