HYDERABAD: US acting ambassador Donald Lu on Thursday assured to extend necessary help to Indian students who joined the tainted Trivalley University in the US and got entangled in legal troubles. He said that the US government will assist the Indian students to get admission in other universities and even return to India after the cases against them were withdrawn.Lu was responding to a request made by Nizamabad MP Madhu Yaskhi Goud during their meeting at the latter’s residence in New Delhi. Yaskhi requested Lu to intervene and help the Indian students who got trapped in legal troubles for no fault of theirs.He said that the students, who were the victims in the incident, are being treated as criminals. The Parliament member also urged the Lu to make efforts to relax the ban on providing jobs to Indians in US and said it would prove beneficial to both the nations.
