Hyderabad Police on Tuesday received a bomb threat to Praja Bhavan, formerly known as Pragati Bhavan located in the city’s Begumpet area.
According to the Inspector of Punjagutta Police Station Shoban, the Bomb disposal team is at the spot and verifying it.
An unidentified person allegedly called the police control room and told the police that a bomb was placed inside the building, media reports stated.
The cops further said that a bomb disposal team was sent to the spot to conduct searches of the premises.
Several checks are currently being carried out in order to verify the claim, a Times Of India report stated.
As per reports, the entry into the building has been stopped for general public as a precautionary measure.
