Indian Navy's might on display on February 6, 50 countries join Fleet Review
Hundred ships and 90 aircraft are taking part in this naval tradition, in which over 50 countries will participate.

The might of the Indian Navy, the strength of our men and the ships will be on display on February 6. The second edition of the International Fleet Review will have the world watching India's successful maritime diplomacy.

The review is done once by every President during his/her tenure, but for the first time 50 countries will take part in the review.

Vice Admiral Satish Soni, Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Command of the Indian Navy, said, "It's a great opportunity to come together on one platform and assert that while borders divide nations waters unite the navies and today we stand together for the International Fleet Review at Visakhapatnam."

Hundred ships and 90 aircraft are taking part in this naval tradition, in which over 50 countries will participate.

Milind Mokashi, Commanding Officer of INS Sumitra, said, "It's a great honour for any naval officer to be a part of this exercise."

India's magnificent aircraft carrier INS Viraat will be on display for the last time as it will be decommissioned after nearly 60 years of sailing. The INS Vikramaditya will be alongside INS Viraat. Along with six columns of Indian Navy ships amd submarimes it will be a dazzling display of India's maritime capability.
